About this event

Join us to help prepare the Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson Community Garden in South Jamaica Queens for the 2025 growing season!
Connect with like-minded people while enjoying nature and participating in an engaging, educational event where you’ll learn the basics of gardening and work hands-on with plants.

Make new friends and put your green thumb to good use through a variety of seasonal projects. Volunteers will take part in a range of garden activities, including (but not limited to) raking, mulching, weeding, planting, garden bed maintenance, pruning, harvesting, and more.

Come learn how to foster a thriving green ecosystem and grow healthy, sustainable crops!

Be prepared

This is an outdoor event, please dress for the weather, wear sunscreen, bug spray, bring water or snacks, and dress comfortably (Long pants). Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson community garden volunteer members will provide gloves.

FREE. Registration required.

Every Sundays Starting April 27th through October 11:00am to 1 pm.
